Soben Travel is led by a Phnom Penh-based tourism professional with more than 20 years of experience across Southeast Asia's travel industry — spanning sales, product development, operations, and general management for boutique DMCs in the region.
Before founding Soben Travel, he served as Cambodia Representative and acting General Manager for Cambodia at a Vietnam-based boutique DMC, overseeing operations and commercial growth across the country. His career has also taken him through hospitality and real estate, and earlier still, into work as a BBC interpreter — experience that shaped a lifelong appreciation for language, culture, and the stories behind every place.
That range of experience is woven into how Soben Travel is built: not as a large, impersonal operator, but as a boutique DMC where every itinerary reflects genuine local knowledge, personal attention, and a deep respect for Cambodian culture and history.
